A Busy Year for Nate Amor: The Singer Just Released ‘I Know Me’

Nate Amor's latest single, I Know Me serves as an introspective and soulful journey into self-discovery. With heartfelt lyrics such as “I’ll be right here looking over the edge/ Don’t think that I’ll ever leave/ Damn the obsession, wish I could pretend/ But I know me, yeah I know me”; and a smooth, melodic vibe, the song creates a deep and sweet connection with listeners, inviting them to explore their own identities and experiences.

I Know Me is an honest and vulnerable song, that gives a glimpse into the artist's personal struggles and growth, alongside gentle acoustic guitar strums and a mellow rhythm. Nate Amor's warm, soulful voice glides effortlessly over the instrumentation. With his performance, he makes clear that he has poured his heart into every word.

The artist said the song was written under the conception that “everything will be all right, but I know Me"

Insanity has this old cliched definition: ‘doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result’. For me, this song speaks to that insanity. How many times have I told myself… “This is the last time.” How many times have a lied to my friends and family? “This time it will be different.” “I can handle it now.” Cliches became cliches for a reason…. “I Know Me”, he said.

The last single by Minnesota-raised and now Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Nate Amor was "Mission Critical". The song follows what has been a busy year for the prolific artist who has released an album, EP, and single all in 2023.

In that song, Nate details the importance of trying to hold onto that childlike innocence and wonder that oftentimes gets lost as adults. So, I Know Me is the continuity of a vast catalog of important musical releases.

Nate was also a contestant on NBC’s The Voice and has shared the stage with Train, Mat Kearney, and Marc Cohn among others, and is currently a vocalist and member of the famed Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
