Louis Tomlinson’s Faith in the Future Tour Makes It Stop in South Florida

Louis Tomlinson on his second headlining tour, performed his first show at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida on July 13th. It was his first solo headlining show in the state of Florida and fans were clearly excited to see him. As soon as the doors opened, fans filled the venue with the front barricade immediately getting covered with signs that fans had made for the show that night. I spoke with one of the fans at the front and she had told me that she and her friends had gotten there the day before, so the excitement was very real.

Louis’ first supporting act was Andrew Cushin. Andrew’s a very talented singer/songwriter who is also a great guitarist. He does a fantastic job of engaging with the crowd and getting them to take part in the show. At one point during his song “It's Coming Round Again” everyone in the crowd had their phones up, with their lights on, swaying back and forth making for a great moment during that night.

The second supporting act was “The Snuts”. They’re an indie rock band from Scotland that started in 2015 and are just a joy to watch. Their music just makes the listener want to move because they’re so groovy& funky and it had that exact effect on the crowd because there was not a single person that wasn’t dancing. There’s a clear synergy and cohesion between the band members when they’re on stage which makes them so much fun to see live.

Finally, it was time for Louis to hit the stage. As soon as his band took the stage fans immediately started getting rowdy, chanting his name until he came out. Once he came out fireworks popped off as well as the crowd. Even though the crowd was singing every word you could still hear how great Louis sounded live. He not only ended up performing songs from his two solo albums, “Walls” and“ Faith in the Future” but he also performed a cover of the Artic Monkey’s song “505” as well as “Night Changes” and “Where Do Broken Hearts Go” which I’m sure the fans who have been following him since his One Direction’s days absolutely loved. Louis, who started his world tour back in May, is on tour until November so if you’ve been wanting to see him live now would be the time especially considering how great of a show he puts together.
