Meet FieldHockey

Meet FieldHockey — the post-hardcore wrecking crew shaking up Tennessee’s underground. What started as a scrappy pop-punk side project in 2019 has evolved into a full-blown sonic assault built on grit, melody, and pure live energy.

Fronted by Enon Harris (vocals) with Michael Avakian and Jake Hixson on guitars, Justin White on bass, and Brad Moss on drums, FieldHockey have carved their name through packed shows, basement stages, and festival slots — including Valley Vibes and a support run with The Funeral Portrait.

After a brief hiatus, the band roared back in 2023 with a new lineup and an even sharper edge. Their latest single “Ecdysis” (June 1, 2024) cracked the code between punk ferocity and metal precision — a punch-to-the-jaw anthem that signaled their rebirth. It’s all heavy riffs, soaring hooks, and that gut-level emotion that makes post-hardcore feel alive again.

So… what the puck is FieldHockey?

It’s loud. It’s honest. It’s Southern sweat and steel.

And if “Ecdysis” is any sign of what’s coming, this team’s just getting warmed up.
