After exploring electronic projects in the past, he now makes a definitive shift, weaving references such as Debussy, Ravel, Natalia Lafourcade, Leon Vynehall, and Ichiko Aoba into a more organic language, attentive to detail, and aligned with his training as a composer.
The album’s conceptual foundation arises from the artist’s fascination with observing nature’s cycles and viewing them as transformations rather than endings, much like a plant's mutation or a leaf's fall to survive another season. niño flor transforms that gaze into a subtle narrative that runs through the entire record, an ambiguous story where a character follows a heron, faces dangers, releases his fears, and understands that moving forward sometimes requires a spiritual “death” and rebirth, like ashes that float.
