LANDROID Closes the West Coast Chapter of The Constellation Tour

LANDROID has completed the West Coast tour supporting their 2026 album “Constellation,” bringing the project from their desert base in Joshua Tree to a series of intimate venues across California, Oregon, and Washington. Cooper Gillespie and Greg Gordon carried the album through the coast in a way that reflected the project's independent spirit while remaining closely connected to the world surrounding the record.

The tour began on June 13 with an album release show at Art Queen in Joshua Tree, setting the tone for a route that moved through smaller rooms and independent spaces. From there, LANDROID continued north, with stops including Olympia and Portland, where they appeared alongside Batnap!

The California leg later brought the duo to Sacramento and San Francisco. The run concluded on June 27 at Decades Hi Fi Lounge in Atascadero, closing this first touring phase for “Constellation.”

“Constellation” was built as a concept project, moving through ideas of fate, inherited histories, Gnostic creation myths, and the repetition of past mistakes. On tour, those themes were not presented only as background context for the songs but as part of a broader stage language shaped by electronic textures, synchronized visuals, and a narrative sense of atmosphere.

The live format also gave added visibility to Nigel Roman’s role within the project. A Joshua Tree local and key contributor to the album, Roman’s vocal presence alongside Gillespie gives the material a conversational tension that helps carry the emotional weight of the story.

“Constellation” has moved beyond the studio and into a journey shaped by independent venues, miles on the road, and the close-knit communities that embraced the band throughout the West Coast.
