Smooth and highly polished, filled with a delicate subtlety, almost as if it were floating among hypnotic synthesizers and supported by a voice capable of moving through and cutting across the atmosphere, that is “Running Out of Time,” the new single by singer and songwriter Kiki Holli & The Remedy.
The rhythm builds gradually, like a live painting that begins at second zero with a blank canvas and slowly comes together with colors, strokes, outlines, and incredibly precise details, until it becomes a four-minute and five-second work of art that is difficult to step away from.
The single marks a new chapter for the Los Angeles-based indie pop singer and is the second release with her band following “Wish,” which surprised her followers late last year.
KiKi Holli’s career has been shaped through patience and exploration, moving between alternative pop, electronic elements, and cinematic textures that now define her artistic identity.
Originally from Pittsburgh, the singer has a background in voice and theater, a detail that becomes clear in the way she performs, where every song seems to unfold like a carefully directed scene. It is no coincidence that one of the moments that projected her onto the national stage was her role as co-writer and star of the off-Broadway production Forever Dusty: The Dusty Springfield Musical.

Over time, Holli transferred that stage sensitivity into her musical career. Tracks like “WIN U OVER” and “Pretty Boys,” the latter widely embraced by LGBTQ+ audiences, show her ability to connect with listeners through a very defined artistic voice.
In “Running Out of Time,” that duality reaches a new dimension. Under the production of two-time Grammy-nominated producer Ethan Allen, the track unfolds into an immersive sonic landscape of indie pop and dream pop, with baroque nuances and a subtle dark wave atmosphere.
With this release, Kiki Holli & The Remedy continue to strengthen a project that combines sonic ambition with interpretive sensitivity. It is a vision that promises to take over stages through a powerful live presence while paving the way toward their upcoming album.
