Voices that fold over themselves again and again, an intense pattern that carries the song from start to finish and makes it instantly memorable, and soaring highs delivered by a voice that shines as an instrument in its own right are all part of “End of the Season,” the new single from singer, songwriter, dancer, and actor Issac Ryan Brown, who officially resumes his music career after a successful season focused on acting.

The song inevitably evokes the best years of ’90s pop and R&B. For the artist, it works as a conscious closing. There is gratitude for what has been lived, but also a clear decision to move forward and claim his place in music with conviction.

The track, which unmistakably recalls the golden era of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, is not only a song but also a turning point for the singer. It shows him satisfied and grateful, yet above all, committed to carving out his own space in the music world.

Despite being just 20 years old, the Detroit native began his career at the age of six, after singing and dancing in front of a packed theater and millions of viewers watching on television on America’s Got Talent.

Following that strong start, the artist built a solid television career spanning more than a decade, appearing as a recurring lead on Raven’s Home, along with roles in Black-ish and Family Guy. Along the way, Issac also developed a loyal audience of his own, now surpassing two million followers across digital platforms.

Still, music always remained at the core. That’s why this return is fueled by hard work and supported by collaborations with high-profile songwriters such as Arno Spires, Chris Ballard, and Wayne Hector, alongside a polished production by KYYNGS, all released under the SSK Records label.

On this track, the vocals move effortlessly over a refined foundation, where rhythmic guitars and precise grooves support lyrics about necessary endings, focusing on the clarity that comes after a break and the calm that appears once the decision to let go has been made.

“‘End of the Season’ is about knowing when your relationship with something or someone has run its course, and it’s time to move on to the next chapter. Like fashion or TV, there’s always an end-of-season show. I’m so excited to finally share new music from this new chapter,” he says.

While it may initially sound melancholic, “End of the Season” is quite the opposite. It is an upbeat and optimistic composition that represents the beginning of a new stage, one built on gratitude, but also on the certainty that moving forward means letting go, giving thanks, and trusting that dreams, sooner or later, do come true.
