Anna Storm

Confidence. It is built, it’s something that can only truly come from within. But can it be taught? Can you stimulate and inspire others to be confident and bold? Pop-Meets-R&B artist Anna Storm certainly believes it, because for as much confidence and swagger as she so easily exudes, she also seems keen to infect others with it until  the world joins her on that same wavelength.

It wasn’t always so for Anna. The small-town girl from Connecticut got a rough start, when she wasn’t being ignored like a wallflower, she was the target of bullies picking at her every insecurity. As it is often the case, music is there for you when others don’t seem to, and for Anna, it became her refuge. Today music a huge part of who she is and it's one the mediums through which her #slaylife message is spread.

So empowering and groovy her music is that even Lizzo herself took notice. Storm saw her two most recent tracks, “Confident” and “Versace Shade” featured on the Number One Amazon Prime Reality TV series  “Watch Out For The Big Grrrls”.

Though it’s been a while since they were released, the songs stand side by side as strong examples of Anna’s huge talent and excellent delivery. Coming into the I was promised “Pop bangers” and that they certainly were. Storm’s high energy and luxurious textures shine through a razor-sharp electro-pop structure that threatens to light up the dance floor at uncanny hours, or just fittingly live up to her name by electrifying you in your crawl from club to club. This last part is of course entirely by design, as it’s a vibe refracted through Anna’s own enjoyment of her life experiences. “"Throughout my youth, I’ve spent a lot of time in the club scene across the US in major cities such as New York, Miami, LA & Vegas.” She says “I wanted to make an upbeat record you could dance to when you’re out getting turnt up, looking fly af, and slaying— something for the nightclubs and for people to get energized by."

Anna`s Storm has been brewing for a while now, the recent feature at Lizzo’s show isn’t the first time her powerful sound has been noticed by other huge colleagues in the music industry, as Roc-a-Fella’s Damon Dash featured her on the “The Roc Files Vol.2” album.

Alongside her music career and huge social media presence, Anna is an award-winning actress, profiling herself as a rather well-rounded entertainer and personality that’s more than capable of connecting with audiences through any sort of platform or medium, and she’s certainly someone who is not going to be disappearing from our radar any time soon.
